Why on earth has no one made the Matrix?
I can only think that one of the pinball companies does have this license.
Quoted from J85M:At this point I honestly don’t know why someone especially AP if they are doing Hot Wheels (a racing theme) doesn’t just pony up for The Fast and Furious licence.
Vin Diesel is super keen since his fallout with The Rock to expand the franchise, there’s a couple computer games coming down the pipeline which don’t exactly give the impression they have much of a budget but the licence has massive recognition and appeal something AP need on a release.
Might not be the most popular licence on pinside but it would do extremely well on route for ops and there’s more than enough pinheads whether they admit it or not that would snap one up if it was a super fast super smooth shooter with badass ramps and mechs AP are becoming known for.
Maybe Hot Wheels is the code name for The Fast and Furious?
Actually looking forward to play this one - it could end up being a lot of fun.
Didn't like playing Houdini or Octoberfest so let's see.
Quoted from RGR:Skinny shots again!!!
Really hope playfield designer hasn't made shots stupidly tight like Houdini.
Needs to be fast and flowing.
Quoted from PinMonk:A giant spinning hot wheels car wheel would be a lot less distracting and more on-brand, but I'd rather have nothing there. It's visually annoying.
EDIT: Actually, just remove the spinning car and motor that drives it and put in a nice cartoony fat-needled tachometer to show the RPMs. That would be on brand and not annoying to have in your field of view, even if it does duplicate some of the indication on the playfield.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Who doesn't like seeing a rev counter of speedometer?
That spinning car is one of the worst toys I can remember!
