#7 11 years ago

Nice job

What I don't get is how the hell does an Ironman have less than 100 plays, I played over 100 games the first day I took mine out of the box, crazy!

#9 11 years ago

Ahhh, longing for the days when you sold one like this for 5k. Was that two years ago?

Ben is that yours? Too cool

edit: your collection is nowhere near current is it?

#12 11 years ago

This is not helping to get rid of my desire to get an Iron Man

#13 11 years ago

You have the arc reactor upside down on that arch. ):

Great color!

I wasn't going to say anything, lol.

Figured there was still time for him to fix it. Looks sweet though

This is my apron. I had someone custom fabricate an arc reactor for me and then had Matt powder coat the apron and mount the reactor. It can be easily flipped though, nice catch

Im a big fan of IM, fast game with awesome audio. Thats a nice looking machine!

It's like deja vu all over again.

Fixed.

Are those aprons for sale with the arc reactor - very cool...

#21 11 years ago

Color looks great on the trim. Well played sir.

#22 11 years ago

How about red t-mold trim on the head cabinet and the coin door would look good in red. That green start button looks out of place, might be nice in red or yellow. Do you have a pic of that apron installed? Nice machine.

Good to know someone else thinks of those minors details and it's not just my extreme OCD, I've changed out my start button on IM to white for arc reactor but recently switched to yellow and it blends in with cabinet art. I'd like to see a coin door in this hot rod red and gold that could look sweet if done right!

brass plated door looks good as well as the shooter plate

IMG_7077.jpgIMG_7077.jpg

also brass plated speaker mesh and a red filter over the dmd adds a nice touch as well.

Swinks, like the shooter knob/head.

On the customized sterns, there needs to be some way to color the panel that covers the Dmd and the speakers. I love the red armor, but when you look at it straight on, the backbox is too black and not tied in with the red. A hot rod red dmd speaker/dmd cover would bring it all together. That said, I think this machine looks awesome, just maybe that tweak would improve it. Could you have a custom speaker/dmd cover made like the custom apron? Does stern leave these black just to cut costs? I don't have a stern yet so I am not familiar with this panel, but I assume they are similar to the panels in my Williams machines.

#27 11 years ago

Now that's WTF I am talking about, I gotta do this on mine

#28 11 years ago

The speaker panels are just wood. So you could paint them whatever color you like.
