I've been thinking about getting one for awhile, I think it's time to pull the trigger. I have a hard drive I'm messing with that I need one for, I'm sure the time will come when I need it for something pinball related. I already have a decent soldering and desoldering station. Looking for something preferably with a small footprint and small budget. Realistically only using it a few times a year.

+1 on this. I should have bought a rework station years ago but I'm lazy on researching.

This is well reviewed and cheap enough.

I may give it a shot.

Check out the 858D from ali express. I have one for a year now, and it works very well. It heats up quite quick, and the handset is not to heavy. Good airspeed control. When it detects you put the handset back in the holder, it cools down and switches off.
I think it is quite popular in china and lot of vendors also sell spare parts for it. (or is that a bad sign?)

This is another one I was considering. Looks like a rebrand of the one you are talking about. I'd pay a couple extra dollars to get it from Amazon.
