I picked up a hook and the laser kick is not working. I have checked for continuity in the wiring. I have checked the coil. Replaced the tip122 transistor. The coil will not fire in test mode either. Any ideas?

I replaced the coil and put in a new sleeve and spring. I haven’t tried to bridge it to ground.
Should that coil have 50v all the time? It didn’t but I might be checking the power incorrectly
If the coil is not firing in test mode and you have already replaced the transistor and coil, then this suggests there is a wiring problem. There should be 50v at the coil at all times. Check for 50v at the coil power lug (thicker wire). If 50v is absent, you will need to examine the wiring. Is there continuity from the coil power lug to the appropriate connector in the backbox? Also check that there is continuity from the other coil lug to the transistor in the backbox. Not sure which connectors they are on Hook; you'll need to check the manual.
Awesome. I didn’t have 50v to the coil so I’m guessing there is a wiring problem between there and the board. I’ll start there.
