my Hook on location @ Lovecraft Brewing in Bremerton, WA. a German re-import that i picked up a couple of years ago after one of the arcades i'm associated with brought back too many games from a scouting/buying trip and couldn't repair them all in a reasonable time frame.

it's in decent player's condition with a little wear everywhere. i had to repair a damaged backbox, a couple of bad display lines, and a non-functioning kickback circuit but now plays great. it's one of those games that i almost forget i have (since it's out of sight most of the time) but whenever i play it i am reminded of why i've kept it. i know they get a lot of flack but i like the call-outs, and as someone who may own a bunch of games but is still a casual player most of the time the rule set doesn't bother me.

since caps will retain some voltage for a while i'd guess that was added to "replace" the batteries, though why they'd still be on the PCB underneath is beyond me since that sort of defeats the whole replacing the batteries thing.
