Quoted from desertT1:I thought he was leaving all marketing for the game up to the “agents”.

He probably should have stuck with that policy.

What are the chances…..2 inherently Brittish licenses being “launched” in the same week that Britain is in mourning for their iconic figurehead while the rest of the world watches. Could be seen as unfortunate timing. Could also be seen as perfect timing.

Quoted from Nepi23:

From the Bond-thread...

Lol.

The Bond thread has lost the plot. It’s stirred not shaken.

Spinal Tap British license? Rob Reiner’s brain is very much an American property…

You know what I mean….. they are after all one of Britain’s loudest bands!

Quoted from RGR:

The inner left ramp is a joke. It amazes how designers dont either test it prior, or just dont know period but the feed is going to have issues. The price is another joke. Give up Mike. Let Haggis, made in Australia by Australians show you how its done.

Anyone know if this was designed in house or it’s the the mysteriously rumored Papaduik design?

Quoted from RebelGuitars:

Could the venue be underpowered with all those games? Wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened. But even so, the coil power should be able to be cranked up. Those ramps aren’t even that steep.

More than likely that’s the reason.

Quoted from Yoko2una:

Oh yeah, the power draw with all the other machines has to be the issue… and not the fact their other machine was destroyed online for having shit flippers, combined with a terrible layout.
This time around we have a layout which on paper may look like a good late 80s Bally layout but can’t do shit based on the videos so far. You know we’re going to look at the flippers, designer, and company history and draw a conclusion that this is a slightly less smelly TBAG turd (though we all hoped for something better given the killer license). So far that’s proving to be the case. Shit geometry. Shit flippers. And no one can speak to the video integration… but we can guess what the total package is right now.

Ive played TBAG a fair bit and never experienced flipper power issues. In fact build quality was the least of its problems.

Not defending anything else at all. Such a good license. Such a shame.

Quoted from Apex:

What if the cocoon lock joke is so meta that it locks the balls during gameplay, and only releases them after the end of the game?

Lol. This is the sort of theme integration we’ve been screaming for.

How does the saying go…..you never get a second chance to make a first impression?

#1008 1 year ago

Aud$14k is a big ask. I assumed it would be cheaper here for some reason. Wasn’t TBAG cheaper in OZ? Maybe sub $aud10k and theyd have a better chance. Maybe.

Thank god I finished my coffee before reading this!!
This is the same as a Stern LE price if I'm not wrong.baaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Next Stern LE will be over $17k I’m assuming. $14k is closer to Premium price now. Still way too much.

Quoted from PopBumperPete:

I see the game is now upgraded with a third flipper, and the price has come down

And it goes to 11?

I dare you to buy one.
DoubleDarePunkin

Calling them now.

Two of the best themes for pinball - Thunderbirds and Spinal Tap - and both........exist.

If someone gave me one it might be fun to try but I don’t think it’s worth the hassle of moving it in and out of my gameroom. The few times Ive played it are probably enough.
