You guys have a ton of faith for some reason...
Also because there are plenty of games out there in pinball-dom that have horrible or even stupid themes but play amazing and are legendary, much sought after games.
There are decent fair-minded rational people out there in amongst the haters who just try to crap on every single thing.
Those people make it all worth it.
Quoted from TreyBo69:You guys have a ton of faith for some reason...
Maybe you confuse faith with hope
Even though faith because of Thunderbirds isn't high, I have hope this one will be better. How much better, and will that be enough to make a fun game? I hope so....we'll now more in september.
I saw the manual for the game was uploaded
https://www.homepin.com/kits/TAP_MANUAL_WEB.pdf
Interesting they still don't have a better way to update the code on the board (at least you don't have to mail it back and forth now). I'm curious about their opto rollover sensors. I sure hope they're not like Vacation America where clicking a flash light on/off at it can get it to register switch closures....
Hall effect spinners is a neat idea tho. Also there's a bell in the game?

The bell is in the backbox. Do like that addition. At least the parts section of the manual is pretty good. Destroys the disaster of a manual that Toy Story 4 has, so there's that. Still not expecting anything from this pin, but maybe I'll be surprised...

For those wondering; No, there is not a detailed playfield photo/drawing in the manual.

Less than one week to go for Newcastle Pinball Association’s Pinfest at Lake Maquarie … down under and the reveal for Spinal Tap. C’mon Aussie!
Cant be worse than the leaked Bond photos ! can it? What a hot mess.
I don't think much of Mike but I hope this goes well.

Is there pricing on this yet?
Quoted from PinMonk:Is there pricing on this yet?
Yea between 9000-9500 I believe in euro
just a few random spot welds on that left ramp and you would think to run the wires down the back edge of the side stadium light brackets
Looks ok, just dent look too closely
Way better than TB , hope it plays well for the festival and loo forward to more reviews/ videos.
Pricing is um, yeah . But this is all pinball and toys lately
I can't wait to see videos of this in action, really hope someone can get some decent footage
Tap is one of my favourite comedies ever , so much potential for some incredible modes
Love that they got the cocoon chamber on there.
Let's hope these guys are less annoyed about the leaks than stern , at least they can't blame the death of our queen , most Aussies don't give a crap
Quoted from wizard1974:most Aussies don't give a crap
most of the world is delighted

No leak…this is the release.
What are the chances…..2 inherently Brittish licenses being “launched” in the same week that Britain is in mourning for their iconic figurehead while the rest of the world watches. Could be seen as unfortunate timing. Could also be seen as perfect timing.
Quoted from Nepi23:From the Bond-thread...
Lol.
The Bond thread has lost the plot. It’s stirred not shaken.
Spinal Tap VIDEO / FLYER !
Short video from the first public showing of the game in Australia today. More pics, videos, info to follow. For now enjoy this quick video…
PinballSTAR is the exclusive distributor in the USA for Homepin. We have a partial container of games ordered - won’t be too many in the first batch. We will announce pricing and begin taking orders and collecting deposits next week.
We’d suggest get on our interested list at this time.

Video :
Not certain… but looked like it just plays the film on the monitor while you play… no correlation to any modes or callouts.
Could be wrong tho.
That backbox mesh isn’t going anywhere!
Looks like the big screen is just showing straight clips, no game info? I guess that’s clever, but there’s a fine line…

Homepin doesn't have the cachet or track record to ask almost $10K for their sophomore release. They should be looking at the piles of HW/UM's for sale on Pinside, the countless unsold TS4's and the fact TNA 2.0 isn't sold out of it's small run. It's sort of like people don't want to pay $10K+ for a NIB... especially from a company that has TBAG basically as their entire resume.
I like the cabinet artwork, as for the playfield, I've possibly seen worse recently (looking at you Bond).
That foil-wrapped cuke though.....
Incredible. another case of a manufacturer failing to provide a production quality gameplay video before some guy with a cell phone. can't unsee the rattled half ramp shot at the :27 mark.
After 1 month air balls will totally turn all those guitars into pieces. No way they could withstand a single hit.
