Quoted from Homepin:We have a US agent and he will pop his head up when we are able to supply.
Anyone in Europe?
Quoted from 27dnast:I haven’t seen the threads at AA... but if they’re that innocent, he should copy and paste them here and explain what the confusion is.
As a moderator, I disagree. I don't want disputes starting on Aussie forums spreading here.
It's 8 am on a sunday morning here, and the first thing I am doing is opening this thread to see how it goes... I don't want to have to read first AA or listen to some podcast before knowing what to moderate here.
So please keep this discussion on topic (Homepin and Thunderbirds...). If you do not agree with some moderation (or lack of) open a mod feedback thread or report inappropriate posts. I am not following this thread closely (or rather, I was not ) so do not expect instant moderation or instant answers.
Understand this is an international forum - we have to navigate between different cultures...
Quoted from rotordave:Yep O-din old chum, you drink enough Jack Daniels a week to earn honorary Bogan status.
Can I qualify too with red wine and Brandy?
Moderation notice to Mancave and Greenhornet: give it a break, take it to PM or face a thread eject.
Quoted from PinSinner:"I have great hopes for our China sales - mainly with our next machine which will target this market.
Just curious, Mike: what is the price (including delivery) in P.R. China? I visit Nanjing quite often... got to convince someone here to buy this pin!!
Quoted from solarvalue:China has the largest middle class population in the world (around 109 million people compared to 90 million in the US) and that represents only 10% of the Chinese population.
And that 2015 figure is probably already outdated - statisticians predict it would double by 2022.
I am currently in China and can attest that this middle class is growing fast... Remember though that, given the lower cost of living here, to qualify for middle class standards, you don't need a huge salary. Unsure if you would stomach a $4800 Stern pro purchase then!?
Quoted from 27dnast:It’s another benefit of manufacturing directly in the middle of China!
Shenzhen is not exactly the middle of China...
Quoted from benheck:Mike's critical error was spending 95% of his time creating a factory and 5% of the time designing a pin.
Quoted from benheck:It kind of reminds me of Predaturd
Skit-B critical error was spending 0% of their time creating a factory and 5% designing a pin.
Although the term "error" is probably inappropriate...
Quoted from punkin:I can order anything i want through my agent too, but the whole country shuts for a month every year.
May be not a full month, but at least two-three weeks for sure! Half of China is going to travel to visit the other half - super hard to find plane or train tickets and hotels are more expensive. Not the best time to be a tourist, and not the best time to order anything!
Quoted from wiredoug:topic is HOMEPIN .. not me
Indeed - sorry to intervene in an Aussie thread but from now on back to Homepin.
Thanks everyone !
