Quoted from gstellenberg:

Filling in some info:
Escape: P3-ROC
Legends of Camelot: P3-ROC
Correcting some info:
Wizard Blocks: P3-ROC
WW2: P3-ROC
Doom: P3-ROC
Queen: P3-ROC
TNA: P3-ROC
Also, it looks like Archer is linked but not listed. It's a P-ROC game.
Generally speaking (there are exceptions - like WOOLY) the P3-ROC is for custom builds, and the P-ROC is for re-themes of WPC/WPC-95 and Stern (Whitestar/SAM) machines.
- Gerry
https://www.multimorphic.com

thanks for the info Gerry, all updated and haven't added Archer only due to it disappearing for the moment and not a on going project build

Quoted from applejuice:

Are you including software rewrites for existing games that are ongoing? Some of these started before 2013. If so:
My projects:
Stern Indiana Jones Rewrite (SAM +PROC):
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/indiana-jones-stern-software-rewrite-port-over-the-journey
that carried on from:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/indiana-jones-software-rewrite-the-journey
Whirlwind (System 11 +PROC) rewrite:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/whirlwind-software-rewrite-the-journey
Star Trek (Bally AS-2518 +myPinballs Custom Controller)
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/bally-star-trek-software-rewrite-the-journey
Also, there are other projects similar which have also been ongoing for numerous years with a lot of effort put in.
Eric's Cactus Canyon Continued (WPC-95+PROC) epthegeek
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/cactus-canyon-p-roc-project/page/27#post-4221933
and Scott's Earthshaker Aftershock (System 11 +PROC) thenotrashcougar
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/earthshaker-aftershock-oct-2014-gameplay-video

thanks for those, it will be handy though I will start a separate thread for software overhaul's as it is another big potential list and thread, so prefer to have separate lists

#53 6 years ago

thanks for the link but this list is a list of build threads on Pinside so people can watch and be part of the thread so will respectfully not place on the list unless the creator can start a thread and show photo of the build, video and chat with those that are curious.

but thanks and hard to tell from the photos but cool theme and would love to see a build thread

Did meet with mr Ink yesterday and had an in depth discussion on Kill Bill and saw pictures and movies. Man, you ain’t see nothing yet. The eye for detail is unbelievable.

That picture is a white wood picture by the way. It will appear in a show in the US and UK in May so whole world can see and play it !! Gonna rock.

I know nothing about this, but there was evidently a Jaws pin made last year. Someone just posted this to fb -

A re-theme of a Sinbad.

The Zen Pinball JAWS would make a sweet physical pin, has a few nice ideas implemented into it like the main playfield rocking side to side - JJPOTC mini playfield on steroids

#63 6 years ago

Hot Rod added to 2018's completed games - with a Gottlieb EM feel and style

very nice work

Seeing as it's almost done except ramps (I'll post more progress soon!), I suppose I should submit Undertale for the WIP section.

I don't have a pinside thread yet (waiting for something more meaningful to show), but I'm working on a Dr Seuss themed pin. I'm using a Disco Fever cab, but it's a completely new playfield. It's a completely custom board set and software/firmware, which is a large part of the reason progress has been slow to this point. We have a ton of family with little ones coming in for Thanksgiving (late November, for all you non-Americans) and I want to have something fun they can play, especially since my nephew who suggested the theme will be there. The software is going to have some fun (and, to my knowledge, never before done) features to it that are unique to the homebrew market, but the playfield will be admittedly a little lame. It's mostly something simpler for me to learn on before my big project coming after that

If you are interested in custom games, or are making one, come stop by the panel at SFGE about custom games!

For more info check out this post:

Dang, bummed I won't be able to make that panel because it sounds awesome, but I assume you'll have Spaceballs on display. I love that project and I'd really like to meet and talk homebrew with you on Saturday. Hopefully I'll have Dr Seuss for SFGE 2019.

This will be my first ever expo and I'm getting excited!

Unfortunately Spaceballs won't be making SFGE this year. I've had some personal stuff going on for the past 6 months, so there is still a lot of work to go.

Let's definitely plan on meeting up to say hi at least though.

You are going to love SFGE!

Nooooooooo! Now I have to come up with a new excuse to tell my wife why we're going there. Well, at least she'll have Hamilton on that Sunday

But yes, let's meet up. Can't wait for sfge!

Just a bump to remind about the custom pinball panel at SFGE this Friday night from 7-8 in the Ascot room.

Gonna be some fun conversation about getting into homebrew pinball. Will be very laid back and informal, not a boring business-style powerpoint.

swinks This is an awesome thread. Thanks for all the hard work compiling the lists.

Hah! It's been rejected from this thread because it doesn't have a pinside thread attached to the build. Nice to see a video of it in your house working.

#75 5 years ago

Ooooooohhhhhhh Van Halen pin.

#76 5 years ago

The idea behind the thread is build inspiration with a linked build thread for people to learn from and be inspired to do the same. I am not isolating other cool custom builds just drawn the cut off point for the index in the first post of this thread, but still feel free to post custom videos.

Howdy. I hope this is ok. Otherwise I’ll delete. At Chicago expo in October a couple of us were able to negotiate a booth just for custom games. We so far have “ghost in the shell” and “nightmare before Christmas”. I might bring greyhounds if the weather allows me to take a truck.
We are looking for more games for the booth. If you are considering going and have a game. Can be just flipping complete - ish or just together. Reach out to me and let’s chat. Rob, David, and the other Rob all would like to see the games at the show. Any hardware or software allowed. And flyers or handouts for your hardware and software is allowed. If your a manufacturer of such also reach out to me.
Thanks

We're looking to do similar at the UK Pinfest next August, so far we have 4 confirmed games, from full custom to just rules changes. We'd love as many games as can be brought.

It was a blast. Really getting to hang out with other custom builders all weekend made it a great weekend. In total I think we had 6 games in the lineup.
Good luck with pinfest. I hope it comes together.

Based on the criteria you listed in the first post, Undertale can be moved to Completed Games 2019. The build is done except minor physical tweaks and a few more rules in the code.
