You don't need grommets. They were only added to prevent the large overheating resistors from becoming dry jointed.
We have sold many hundreds of these with no issues. Please return for a refund of you are not happy with them.

Demo Man is the only machine of this era that has the mounting posts like that. We have amended the PCB to allow for it but it is only for this particular machine. Sadly this is a problem when recreating boards - it is often impossible to allow for every single situation and scenario. Most times we only have access to one or two different machines to take measurements etc - sometimes we rely on people sending in accurate details.
Other aftermarket board manufacturers have similar problems from time to time as well, we are not special here.
Unfortunately there is nothing I can do with the boards you have in your particular machine so I suggest you return them for a refund.
If you still need a set sometime in the future perhaps by then new versions will have filtered through.
