Hey, just joined the club! Picked up a Solar Ride for $150. Worked when I picked it up, not so much when I got home. I was ready for a real project but just started with the basics and found it in like 5 minutes. Blown fuse... yeah I know it's never just a fuse but in this case it was! I was ready for acid board damage, ground issues, open circuits but just a fuse. Legs are horrible, back glass is flaking, cabinet has been touched up and the play field is fair.

Polished the playfield with some Novus 2. It did brighten it up some but the picks looks better than in person. Just scored 549410 on it!

Hey, it's been a while since I've been here. Had my Solar Ride acting funny yesterday and had to turn it off and on a couple of times before it would completely turn on. I now turn it on but after the 5 second wait for it to finish turning on and showing high score etc. nothing. I have checked all the fuses. Slam switch is closed and I can find very little in the way of diagnostics for this. Battery was remotely located prior to me owning. Looking for any direction or diagnostics on this one. Had been working great up until yesterday. Any direction would be appreciated.

Checked and on the first two pins I have about .2V nothing on the third (It's a ground) then .2V and what appeared to be 17V on the last pin. Power supply bad and if so where would I get one?

Thanks for the help too! This is my favorite go to game as it plays so quickly. I've spent 40 minutes in one game on my WOZ. HA!
