Quoted from Whysnow:congrats! Such a rare and great game!
I agree completely! This is real nice shape too, John T signed the translite!
Whats your opinion on leds in a game like Excalibur? I think they would work well due the the very color coordinated ruleset?
Have a bit of a question for other excaibur owners. When you launch the ball into play, does it go all the way around the ramp? I ask this because mine drops through the cut out part. I put in a stronger spring, a blue one, but it still is not going all the way around! Thanks
Also could use some help with this:

So, soon I'm going to rebuild the flippers on my Excalibur. I have only ever done Bally flippers and thsee look totally different. Any suggestions?
So, on my Devil's Dare one pop bumper is not working. It doesn't even score, I know that there is a modification for the pop bumper. How do you do this mod and would this fix my problem?

Nevermind, I took the offending board off and I found a broken trace. Jumpered that up and we are in business.
Quoted from JosiahCox:So my Pascal all in one board arrives today for my project Totem. My next step is rebuilding the connectors and testing the coils.
Can anyone recommend a good place to get the connectors and pins for System 1 games?
Thanks!
Big Daddy Amusements is where I got my stuff.
So my speech has never worked on my DD since I got it. It has a new power supply. I know that the ones that were sent overseas didn't have speech on them, I don't think mine is one of those but I don't really know what I'm looking for. Thanks for any advice!
Quoted from blownfuse:Hi Ronnie. All voice calls on DD are on the sound 16 line. You'll have to follow that line from start (U6 on the CPU board), through all the connectors and to the finish (on the sound board). I don't envy you on this one, you'll need a schematic.

System 80, not just a job, it's an adventure
Now, am I tracing that with a multimeter or logic probe? I do have the schematic but I'm not very good at reading them. Might be in over my head here.
Quoted from Raff:i have a royal flush deluxe system 80a does that get me into the club
Totally!
Who Hoo!! Thats how you win a game! And a very important one at that. The Steelers played well but the turnovers killed them/
