Has anyone ever converted a sys1 to sys 80?
Specifically Hulk#500 comes to mind.
I picked up a Hulk that is not working and was considering a complete swap over. Any thoughts?

Quoted from ForceFlow:You would need to completely rewire it, and find somone who made a copy of the game and sound ROMs.
It would be far easier just to throw some new pascal or ni-wumpf boards at it, like most people do on system 1 games.
ForceFlow I don't mind converting it just to be unique, it would be a matter of roms and maybe if someone had a schematic of Hulk#500 that I could go off of. Also thought of your Hulk at Pintastic running the Pascal which is what got me wanting a Hulk so bad. Pascal would indeed be the easiest way but I do want to explore the switch over to system 80 if at all possible.

Doesn't hurt to ask and anyone else that has solid info on converting sys1 to sys80 please feel free to chime in.

Quoted from Cherga:Anyone have the measurements of the Backbox glass for Bad Girls?
Shouldn't it be the same as the other 80b machines.

Quoted from Cherga:It’s definitely not the same size as Gold wings, Genesis or Hollywood Heat.
No kidding, I was thinking they would be the same size.

Quoted from petebest:Regarding the switches - the stand up switches behind the rubber ring fire the Coil, but what I was mentioning is the NO switch that closes when the slingshot arm reaches end of stroke. It’s this switch that when closes, Scores.
We would like to see a picture of this. Trying to envision what you are talking about, because their is not a end of stroke switch on the slingshot arm, only flipper arms.

Quoted from Troyster42:I thought I would try and see if anyone might shed some light on what’s going on here. I posted in MGoW thread here (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/mars-god-of-war-club-n-tech-emporium/page/5#post-6229316) So I am working on a MGoW I have 2 of every board with an extra rotten dog mpu board. I did the sound checks with the sound card and everything checks out. I did the ground mods, repined almost everything and even made a new connector between the mpu and driver board. With one of the original board and the rotten dog I am getting all sounds with the exception of the last sound when the game is over. With the other stock mpu if you beat the high score you and you get the 3 credits it will play the ending sound. If you don’t there is nothing. I’ve been checking continuity with all of the sounds and everything seems fine. I don’t know what triggers the ending sound and what sound lines it uses. I also got the test rom and I have tested 1 board with everything except when I need the switch installed, the switch is coming tested fine. I just don’t understand how all of the other sounds are there and correct why this one there is nothing. Hoping for help.
I think this is going to need multiple people, pics and videos to solve. With that being said, you should start your own repair help topic so these others don't get cross-posted and cluttered.
