    Quoted from jrpinball:

Worst of all though is Utica Club!

You hush your mouth! It's not the nectar of the gods, but it's a damn serviceable, cheap beer. It's also a pretty neat factory tour.

And aluminum cans make excellent insulation.

    Quoted from jrpinball:

There's also that OV (Old Vienna?) from upstate, and it should stand for oy vey! Another dreadfully awful brew.

OV and Rolling Rock splits (little bottles-- I think 7oz) were really popular around the time I turned 21. You'd get a bucket full of them on ice, for like $5. I don't think OV is an upstate brand-- but it was really bad.

My vote for a bad upstate beer would be Koch's Golden Anniversary (we dubbed it Crotch's Golden Showers)-- (even at $1.49 for a 6-pack, we'd turn our noses up at it)-- and this guy had not-nice things to say about it- https://badboozereview.wordpress.com/2009/09/28/kochs-golden-anniversary-the-worst-beer-in-america/

But there are imports that are even worse! Green Rooster (from Denmark if I remember correctly)-- tasted like soapy dishwater. Retch inducingly bad.

    Quoted from jrpinball:

We used to get Canadian Ace in a glass gallon jug for $1.00! That was back when we didn't care much how it tasted, as long as it got you good and buzzed!

Never heard of that one before. Our go-to was Meister Brau, at $1.29 a six pack. Mickey's Wide Mouth was another one... just awful. I suppose it's a bit like the Dave Chappell skit for Samuel Jackson Beer "IT'LL GET YA DRUNK"
