Interesting timing for these projects! You might want to wait a few months...

Yes, that's exactly what I've heard as well. The rumor is that it will be announced in June, but I wouldn't be surprised if it slipped to July with some of the delays earlier this year. Regardless, I'm very excited to see how the art package looks on the game!

If stern does decide to change the art package on an old game, that I wouldn't really be in the market for anyway, it shouldn't have much impact.
This will be something very different and, since we're not really selling it, I think it really won't matter to us.
It'll be great fun and a learning experience that will fuel our future desire to create our own custom modern pin one day.
I totally understand and agree that a vault edition shouldn't stop you from working on this project at all! I love seeing homebrew projects like this and can't wait to see how yours turns out! Keep up the great work!
