Thank you sir. It's a slow process, especially with all the other projects. But, at least we are now working to a deadline. Should be interesting.

Quoted from swinks:the batmobile needs to be there and maybe brought in front of the A.
What about making that leg of the A transparent so the Batmobile looks complete?
Quoted from Fifty:Cabinet artwork looks great, but I would make one modification to it. You need to remove this or make it look more like a street lamp in the previous uncut version.
Haha! There is a proud tradition of genitalia in pinball art. LOTR LE and Quicksilver just to name a few
Okay, I think we have reached a good place with the cabinet art.
Some of the stenciling will be tricky, but I think we can pull this off reasonably well and that vintage look we're hoping for seems to be working out.
So, with cab and back glass art well in hand, I think we can start to move on to more work on the playfield and some cabinet work too.
I modified the head with some MDF parts I cut on the CNC and soon I'll be mounting the score reels and lamps.
Soon I'll also do a simple inkjet mock-up of the backglass art on some plexiglas just to see how it all lines up.
The art looks great; I'd suggest re-thinking the side of the backbox though; the 'wire' they're climbing kinda messes with the integrity of the bat signal IMHO.

It's a tricky composition for sure. We've tried several different things... including tucking the rope behind the signal (which just isn't correct either).
I think having the bat signal in the distance behind them as they're climbing is the way to go. We just decided to line things up in order to keep from messing with the logo too much. Maybe in true stencil style, I can break the rope with just a little bit of white space above and below the signal so it doesn't actually touch the bat logo.

Perfect!
Quoted from Fifty:It will always look like a testicle to me, but it looks much better now!
That little nut brings the whole composition together
I always found that street lamp looked out of place... even in the original opening sequence, but it's a bit iconic in it's own right.
We are still slowly working away on this project after a brief summer hiatus. More information will be posted when things start coming together. A few of the custom changes to the original playfield have added some challenges but it will be worth it when it is completed.
For now here is a picture of the playfield that was being worked on a few days ago.

Code, code and more code
Monkeybug has been playing with the system for a few months.
Hoping to make a few physical tweaks to the whitewood once he's done and then we can launch into the 2nd build
