The A-4893 is probably the closest match to A-1496 in terms of what you have on hand relative to resistance, wire gauge and windings. Personally, I never substitute different coils without emailing Jimmy at PBR: it's too quick and easy not to. If he doesn't know, he'll get you an answer. BTW they do have your A-1496 in stock and it's only $10, but if you need a short-term replacement to get the game up and running, they should know if your A-4893 would be a safe sub.
