Quoted from pinostalgia:cheddar,i'm curious how's your hollywood heat project going?
Getting ready to start it. Should be able to tackle it in the new year. A friend gave me a populated playfield with a perfect ramp on it so I shouldn't need any new parts.
When it went into the garage a few months ago it was booting so it shouldn't be too much effort
Quoted from Luzur:Looks good, but abit...unpopulated? Funny enough i also had some Patrick Nagel plans for my HH, but on the playfield.
I'm thinking of adding a palm tree silhouette and moving the figures right and making them bigger. I've got a couple tweaks to make it more Nagel too
Quoted from Luzur:Try it against a bright light before you do any transliting.
yeah looking for best practices on this.
Adding a little color to the building should help tooHH Colored Building (resized).png
UGH Gimp 2 has a nasty export. The PSD doesn't look like that around the logo
Quoted from practicalsteve:Can anyone confirm the orientation of this connector? I thought I had a pic but don’t and it’s not keyed. Do the two empty slots go on the left or right?

wires to the left
Quoted from Luzur:Huh, on my Gottliebs they are all to the right with the empty holes on the left?
They all are tied to 5VDC
Ok the experience I've had with 80B pins had identified a couple crucial fixes. Ground mods is the first and you are working on it. The bottom board ground mods make a huge difference. The pins on the ground connection break the solder joint and then you have a floating ground and never know it. I used an aluminum buss bar to try all them together and then grounded the bar to the metal chassis.
Second is dirty switches. A lot of sounds are driven by switches in gottliebs (not directly I know) and the dirty switches keep certain sounds from playing when you expect it and the game sounds weird. Also the kicker targets and slings will be weak. It gives the appearance of a sluggish game. Cleaning the switches fixes this and it's an add-a-ball easy job.
Quoted from crussell:Still have a few bugs to work out. But coming along.[quoted image]
Love this translite
Quoted from crussell:Thanks! Got some inspiration from some of the custom ones on here. I can dig up the file if anyone wants it.
I'll take the file
