I'm having about 10 couples over for a holiday pin party. I need help in creating a tournament that everyone can play. Most of the people coming are not pinheads, some probably never played a machine in their life, but a few have some skills.

Does anyone have a good format that will promote people to play together, not lose interest, etc?

Thanks Jackd, I was hoping to have some sort of event where people switched partners somehow. It might even it out better. I like your idea about showing the prizes ahead of time. And you are right about not wanting it to go on too long, too.
