Ummm Smaug is pretty much fully revealed in the second film that is now out... I'm looking forward to them showing more of the upper playfield this has a lot of potential - and the visual artwork for the display is truly groundbreaking for this hobby... and the SOUND quality of WOZ being furthered in the hobbit - can't wait!

12-13 minutes in he re-references multiple control inputs as well as "things happening under the playfield" that could be under the player's control. will be interesting to see how this ends up.

It's bizarre how many design items have been debated by this community as having questionable taste, and the arguably most creative animation (the troll cave bridge multiball clip) that was freaking awesome somehow went all the way to Peter Jackson and got cut. Not complaining - just makes you wonder what Jack and his team face in terms of final decisions.

Now it has me wondering what wide body game has the heaviest playfield - this could be a contender - end off topic random thought. Back on topic it's come a long way from what they first showed & makes me wonder how much community input drove better development vs how much games get refined through the ordinary process & we were just able to see it happening.
