THIS looks awesome!

You can tell from the drawings that just like WOZ, there is a TON going on at the top left and right of the playfield.

I was told by someone in the know that the have a completely different engineer who is doing the lighting on this pin vs who they used on WOZ. They now realize the "daisy chain" system was the wrong way and will be doing something better moving forward.

Can't wait for he next update. You just know the dragon is going to be wickedly awesome!

This thread is truly and embarrassment to this community. And I'm talking more about Craz4pin than the camel toe picture I missed.

Jack is doing great things here. He's getting feedback, he's trying to improve the final product, I don't know how anyone can complain about the effort we are seeing with THLE.

Just watched a video of the most current showing and I think it looks great!

I don't suppose a picture of those posted on here would help that much for us on the fence or would it? Your thoughts between the 2 colors?

I absolutely love the trim on the SE. Those pictures and video sealed it for me, SE all the way. This is probably the most excited I've been with a pinball release since Wolverine LE (and I collected comics as I kid and was crazy stoked for X-Men)

I don't like it either, but i do understand it. They don't want to slow down the production lines. But its a shame it has to be this way. I'd literally wait to have my machine done towards the very end to get my choice and not have to spend an extra $200 which I could put somewhere else

For those that are worried about the game, ask yourself this. After the problems/issues/negativity Jack got from WOZ (some if not most of which we now know was due to suppliers and not directly his fault) do you think he's going to ship a game out the factory door that isn't very good? Doing so would seem to be murder for his company. He has all the incentive in the world to make this a killer game. He's been quoted tons of times saying WOZ will be the worst game they ever make. So I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt here and have a feeling this is going to be a KILLER game. I've vested in it so of course this is going to be my stance, but logically it does make sense that he wouldn't just say F it and put out a turd.

well I used to talk a little junk about WOZ because I thought the theme was so lame...and then I played a friend's Ruby Red WOZ and WOW. That game was gorgeous, and fun. Seemed like it has tons to do. But yes, Hobbit is about 100x better a theme IMO.

That did NOT look like a slow or boring pin to me! Probably most exciting video I've seen to date. Definitely encouraged!

I lost my job last week and am giving serious thoughts to giving up my Smaug LE. Anyone interested in buying for $8k? Yes that's $500 more than what I got in at but I've also had this money tied up for so long and would like to get something back for it, plus in a real bind. I believe my number is #493.

Lost my job a few weeks ago and thought I was going to cancel. Then made a really tough choice but decided to sell my wolverine LE so I could stay in for Smaug LE. Feel so happy that I think I have made the right choice!

JJP pins are better than HEPs, and a lot cheaper too.

That is BY FAR the best video yet. And a lot of the sounds I'm hearing remind me of TOTAN (which is a good thing) I'm starting to actually get encouraged after weeks of being down from all the negativity on these boards...

Just played a few quick games, definitely heard new call outs which was nice. Didn't get to 5 armies though

Just finished a marathon best game to date. 7,943,000! Killed Smaug once, played every multiball and got to Into the Fire and Barell Escape a second time! This is such a fun game!!

I'm on 1.90, played Battle of 5 Armies too, then started all over and got to Into the Fire and Barrel Escape a 2nd time.

I didn't really look at my watch, but guessing a good hour.
