Just heard that HOBBIT LE will be released BEFORE Christmas, same time as the film!?

Jack has listened to the community, and I think that the game will be amazing.

WOZ Raised the bar for all pinball manufacturers and boutique makers and to better it JJP had a lot of work to do.

The quality of the HOBBIT at Expo was well below what JJP are capable of doing.
After hearing the problems/barriers on creative design on WOZ & THBT an unlicenced game or two will be a welcome break!

It's looking pretty good. If they made a SMAUG body to go behind the head it would finish that area off nicely.

HOBBIT was a bit slow, the flippers were set on low power, enough to make the ramps but not get any real speed on the ball. The pitch was out as well.

I managed to figure out a few rules/objectives that gave multiball on the pop ups and making the ramps to lock the ball for SMAUG multiball. Completed the characters and ELF DWARF MAN drops which allowed me to "start" a mode but it was telling me to hit stuff But didn't know where it was or it didn't work after that if you get my drift so couldn't really tell if modes were complete.

The game drop targets did alternate but not sure why, the diverter worked at the top of the cross over once, not sure why tho as I didn't know how I got it to do it. Smaug still has no teeth, not a lot of interaction guess with software updates he will.

But I'm staying in on it. Looks like it will be a good rule set. Won't have a camera or anything in the middle of Backbox, that will be on Pats game

Will the Hobbit be released and distributed by number? Or will it be like WOZ. I seem to remember Ltd Edtn numbers being put behind new customer money and pre-orders being completed over a year after initial release. If this happens again I'm not going to be happy SE#83

I'm in the UK. Ordered my SMAUG Jan 2013. Have been told that my hobbit will be here by Xmas! This was too long to wait and have asked for it to be sent earlier.

My distributer is saying wait until potential hardware issues have been resolved (WOZ boards). Have any test machines had issues apart from the ramp welds? What about the Home owners? I know it's still early days but what are the impressions.
