Hi,
I was hoping I could get a little help... The orc is no longer coming up and I'm getting the following errors:
Check Matrix Switch #36 orc pop-up hit -stuck open-
Check Matrix Switch #47 Orc Up -stuck open-
I'm new at this... I've tried taking out the whole orc unit and checking everything over visually, checking and cleaning the switches, making sure everything is plugged in and no wires are broken or in the way.
I could use a little direction... What should I do next to troubleshoot?

Both issues are on the two Orc switches that haven't been triggered recently. Hence the stuck open.
Tests - Switches - Matrixed, push the Orc face leaf blade switch, then under the playfield the switch on the side of the Orc assembly to see if it registers on the screen.
If they don't work then you have a broken wire on both, whether you see it or not.
If they both work, then concentrate in getting Orc to pop up. Pull out the high power inter lock on the coin door, in Tests - Orc up - hit the start button - does it pop up ? try a little ? or nothing ?
If it tries but doesn't get it up. Try viagra. HaHa, I kill me. Then make sure the Orc thing goes up and down smoothly. If it does. Then loosen the nut on the bottom of the assembly and spin the rubber stopper up a little and then tighten the nut. That should do it.
If the Orc doesn't go up and down smoothly, then remove the whole assembly and loosen screws and hold ends in and tighten, see if that helps. Otherwise spend a lot of time loosening and adjusting screws and assembly until he does go up and down smoothly.

Thank you so so much LTG! After spending hours trying to troubleshoot myself and not knowing what I was doing, it turns out, all I had to do is go into Tests - Switches - Matrixed, like you said, then manually pull the beast up... thats it! that fixed it! That caused all the errors to go away and for it to function normally. Ugh, well know I know for the future. Ha!
