Does anyone else's kickback sometimes fire so weakly it barely makes it past the left slingshot when used at full strength? It is fine if an actual kickback is occurring, but if the ball is stopped and the power meter appears on the screen it is totally weak 80% of the time even at full power. Other times, full power will get the ball to go straight into the right outlane instead of up towards the man targets.

Quoted from pinballinreno:

The kickback has a randomizer in the code to make it harder or easier to make the upper right flipper.
You can make it easier in the settings.
The strength is also stronger or weaker depending on how many switches are hit to load the windlance.

Woah woah woah, what?! I've taken the apron off and tried to adjust the kickback in the past...etc to fix this problem, I had no idea. Thank you so much for sharing this. Is there anyway to tell how much strength the windlance currently has...etc? Or to tell how built up the windlance is?

I'm impressed with the windlance knowledge, anyone know definitively how the backstab feature works? I press the button and it doesn't seem like anything ever happens.

Quoted from Gritty:

Anyone having a problem with the left outlane pop up post not activating? I can't even get it to engage during coil self test. Game is less than a month old.

Happened to me. Turned on there was a piece of rubber missing from the bottom of the coil so it was magnetizing to the arm. I put a zip tie in the hole to break contact and that fixed the problem until JJP was able to send the stopper. Also worth nothing, it didn't happened immediately it was after 2 weeks of running the game that it started to stick.

Quoted from Gritty:

Issue resolved! Thanks for your help. I posted a picture just incase someone runs into this issue again. I guess they forgot to include this part in the factory. It took a couple weeks of play before it became magnetized and stopped working.

Glad it worked! I was pretty confused when it originally happened, I'm happy to save someone else some trouble .

Do people still have the problem where Smaug fails to catch the ball with his magnet? I had to switch out my ramp a few months ago and I didn't quite get my magnet level with the drop off point when I installed it back in. Because the magnet is recessed in about 2mm it *always* catches the ball perfectly now.

Wondering if the code changed as well or if it is purely recessing the magnet that did the trick.

Also, do you guys think this will cause increased wear on the ball/magnet? I do see a wear wear mark on the magnet but maybe that is normal? I'm not sure how much I should be concerned about wear on the magnet, about 40% of the surface in a line looks worn-ish. I'm about 500 games in on my machine.
