Hobbit SE Questions.....WTF am I getting?

So I just bought a Hobbit SE and I have to say what a shit show it is trying to figure out the specifics of what I am getting. I understand the gold trim and cabinet art as it is well documented. What about the color of Smaug and the pillars around him?? Is he all gold as seen in some pics (which I hate) or is he red with gold highlights as seen in other....... WTF! I am starting to wonder if I made a mistake getting the SE as I like the coloring of the LE, but like the cabinet art of the SE. There is just too much gold and beige in the SE. The green pillars near Smaug and the red smaug color in the SE just look better as it provides more contrast. Also WTF is seaside bronze?........I am wondering if that is better than the gold?? Thanks in advance as the web sight doesn't even have clear pics.

I believe you are getting the gold trim rails and gold accented Smaug toy.

I think the Allentown show had the final pillar colors, but not sure.

Smaug SE will likely be fairly close to this:

Thanks guys. Ok, i am good with that Smaug coloring. I saw an image with a completely gold Smaug that freaked me out. So it appears that the pillars are green on all versions? I definitely like the green.

The completely gold was the first SE prototype also without teeth.

From what I can tell from all the pictures, both versions of the game will be great looking.

The sad part is we are paying $8000+ for a machine that no one can confirm the exact appearance.... Lol

Why did you buy one before seeing or playing the latest versions? Distributors will still have SE's available for a while. I'm not sure why you are buying one since you seem to be having buyer's remorse.

Completely agree. Why didn't you ask these questions before buying? You buy it and then start a freak out thread "WTF did I buy?!" Come on man, that's not normal. Is it?

Just wait, if the game comes out you'll have no problem finding one. Plus line cutting seems to be the norm. The pre-orders will get kicked to the back of the line so new money can come in. Word to the wise: WAIT!

I don't have buyers remorse, I am simply frustrated on the specifics as there is a lack of clear communication. Clearly you know there is a $1500 difference between the SE preorder and the current price?? All buyers had to make a decision on what model to choose prior to seeing any finalized version. The specifics have changed so many times that no one source has it right on their web page.......Not even the manufacturer! Your own comment expresses what I stated, you said why would you buy one without playing the latest version....lol. Helllloooo, I got a preorder. Do you have any knowledge to assist me in my answers or are you just trolling.

Is my advice wrong? Why not ask questions before buying? I'm confused. OP sounds like he just bought it, but then says he pre ordered before the price increase. Maybe he bought a spot. Either way he got his answer and will be happy with game.

I've been the culprit of this before. He's asking a question in a dramatic way that's inviting contentious replies. If you do that you can't call those replies trolling. He could have asked his question in such a different way. But again he got answers time to move on.
