I got my Hobbit today. The ELF drop targets won't come up. Tests don't indicate a problem. Coil tests on each target raises them so I have not tampered with coil settings. They are not turned off . They do wiggle when the others come up at beggining of game but ELF stays down. The UP REQUESTS and UP RETRIES say 0 whereas for DWARF and MAN they are several hundred each on requests with about 10% of requests number in retries.

I do not see anything loose or unattached.

Any ideas?

It shows green for up on system while are physically down. I no longer can raise them manually by testing the coil... in fact no coil responds now though play remains the same.

Thank you Ted and Pinballinreno. I found it. Just like you said it was the harness connector to one of the boards not connected. It actually came all the way loose when I raised it this time. It was not clear cut following the wires. They twisted around through a zip tie holding what I guess is most of the wires in the game and returned back to attach to its board. I guess they did that to get the angle. I guess this newb will get better.

Anyone ever replaced one of the "lock" rollovers? What is involved? My "C" rollover button's stem broke and the button flipped up on playfield. JJP sold me a new button saying that's all I need. With the nipple on the end how am I supposed to get it through the sleeve? The old remnant won't pull out from the top. Before I go tinkering I'd love to know how it's supposed to be done. Thanks in advance.
