Glad owners are loving their hobbits. I guess the theme brings out the LOTR comparisons. Not really seeing anything similar on the games other then both have deep rulesets. They couldn't be much more different to me.

WOZ is a great example of what code updates can do to turn a game into a masterpiece. I have high expectations the Hobbit will be the same. The only thing I saw in early Hobbit videos I didn't like was the noisy drop targets but maybe they can be refined or indeed have been refined with code so they don't all fire like a machine gun.
Anyway I am jealous of all the Hobbit owners WOZ is superb and I sure the Hobbit will be once the code is complete.
Because they are in high demand and people like money.

Nonsense. Keith is a great coder, but he didn't have to get into all out internet wars with everyone that disagreed with him. Several other programmers, game designers, etc seem to be able to post without going down that path. Plus if it's a cesspool why are you here?
I'm looking forward to getting some games on the Hobbit as the code progresses. I don't think the layout will ever allow it to catch up to LOTR but time will tell.

I hope you are right, more great pinball is a good thing. It definately has better decals and sound. Playfield art for sure as well. Playfield layout LOTR wins by a mile though. Currently I prefer the calls outs and music on LOTR but that might change with more code.
