Best to probably just wait and look for a loose/broken connection when you get home. Until you totally rule that out, your really just going through a multiple of possibilities.

Keep us posted. Half a dozen things it could be, but the Coil Test menu should be your starting point. Try to fire the coil in there, and see if it works. If not, you know it's in that circuit somewhere (loose/broken wires, connector loose on the chassis/io board, etc. If it does work, then you know it's in your switch that would normally fire the coil (so check that in Switch Test).

Next test is continuity from the coil to the IO board. You have a digital multimeter?

also, make sure your coin door is closed or the coils won't fire. check the interlock switch to make sure it is working properly. (this only applies if all the coils were not working, not just the kickback). may not be necessary for this specific topic, but someone else finding this thread later may have missed it).
