What is broken on yours? I had one that was missing the yellow piece and I just bought a circular insert that fit.

#3 5 years ago

The clips that hold it in place are broken off. So I have it zipped tied on right now.
Just was hoping to find one. If not it still works.

Do yourself a favor and skip the black repro.

A great pinsider here sent me the 3D print file to have a yellow one made. I used Shapeways for printing.

PM me and I can send you the file.

I'll try to post photos tonight.

I’d like one for my machine, but don’t own a printer. Anyone?

#10 5 years ago

The yellow does look good. I am trying to see if one my sons high school class will print it.
No word yet.

I used Shapeways, guys.

I’ve tried to track down a new one too, with no success. I’m surprised that there aren’t plans out there for an exact replica for a 3D printer. Unfortunately, I have zero experience with that.

The yellow one is definitely a good option, but I’d really like to have a duplicate of the original for my restoration.

I was able to pick one up for my Hurricane from Steve Young. Printing one sounds neat though.

I agree. I've also been looking for one for quite some time. Mine is functional, but the tabs are broken so it has a screw going through the top securing it to the back plate.

Get the light from Shapeways, print it in black. I got a black and yellow...both look great

I like that design!! I'd love to have the program to get one printed!!

Can you post of picture of it in black? I’d be interested to see how that looks.

I also found this online, looks like someone started building a 3D print model of the original but never finished it:

Great idea! yellow looks cool. It was black and a basic shape from the factory for cost measures I am sure. Most traffic lights are usually yellow or green and detailed.
Great effort! Looks great, should have been that way from the factory.
These are the kind of mods that are worth doing.
Again, great idea.
