High Speed sound issue: Music out of sync

It seems to be getting worse, so figured it's time to tackle it.
Relatively quickly, like within 30 seconds of gameplay, or attract music, or testing, the drum beats slowly shift go out of sync with the music.
It seems to me the drum beats are running a bit slower. Pitch / tone of the music and beats seem correct, and yes, if i waited for maybe 15-20 minutes who knows, maybe they'd sync again for a few seconds

So I'm not sure where to start with this? Couldn't find any info in any sound issue threads here, nor any mention in repair guides...

I've reseated the ribbon cables, and was wondering if this is something to do with reseating chips? Corrupted sound chip (s)?
Any particular cap or resistor?
