I had this problem when I swapped my pf. I had a bunch of flakey sockets in the various brackets and tried to repair them, but I found that you really can't unless you have the parts and the special crimper that they use when making the sockets. I ended up just replacing all of them with new screw down lamps. It was a huge hassle with all of the diodes, but I know I will never have a problem with them again.
