Picked up a High Speed II with minor battery corrosion. Abated the corrosion and checked for bad traces and verified continuity around the affected components. Wired up remote batteries and powered up the machine but it won't boot beyond "Restored Factory Settings" and "Bookkeeping Totals Cleared." The LED's show no errors. After about 5 minutes with the power on the machine went into attract mode on its own. Surprised the heck out of me, but when I tried to start a game it would not accept a coin. I turned the game off and back on, but cannot get it to go into attract mode again. Stuck on "Restored Factory Settings" and "Bookkeeping Totals Cleared." Any idea what is wrong and what to check? The batteries are good.

Thanks for that correction. Switched the battery wiring and now game powers on to attract mode. Says to insert a coin, but nothing happens when I insert coins. The test button inside the door does not work either.
