Hey! I had a mint HUO High Speed that I sold to someone as a first pinball. It worked great for me. No issues. They got it home last night and played it a couple hours, when suddenly 3 things stopped at once...the left and right hide out, and the kick back. I told him how to do the switch and coil tests. I figured it was a switch row issue.
Switches passed. No issues. But, it fails in the coil test. From what I remember, these 3 coils are powered through a relay. He said he hears them click, but the coils are not firing. I’m going to help him tomorrow, but wanted to ask you all before hand so we can get this nice machine running again.
-any ideas on the cause?
-are these 3 coils fused separately? I don’t see this in the manual. There is a random 2.5 slo blow mounted in the back box
-I’m trying to imagine the wiring with the relays. Are the hots on the 3 coils daisy chained together? Are the grounds on the other side of the open relay?
Thanks for suggestions!
