Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:Cabinet is fully stripped and empty. All parts are sorted out so I can make a new parts list.
Do you remove the harness from the pf? Looks like you clip off all solder joints. How do you keep track of what goes where?

Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:Just a little bit more of under playfield stripping of the mechanics and some parts tumbling. It will be a bit before the cab gets redone. Going to do the playfield first and while the clear is curing I will tackle the cab.
I don't clip any wires. I unsolder everything. I take detailed pictures of every wire I unsolder so I know which one goes where. The harness has a pretty good "memory" of wanting to go back in the same formation.
I will have some good progress end if the week/weekend.
Memory or not, I can't imagine how much time that takes to resolder. Do you replace all diodes?
Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:Shiny parts. Tumbler has been on since Tuesday or wendsday and its still running. Doing things in batches and keep different things seperate cab/playfield etc.
Wow - how do you know where every part goes back on? I have to use several different baggies and keep everything cataloged and seperate to know where it goes back.
