I have a High Speed pinball and the right bottom flipper is very weak, no power. I’ve never serviced a pinball machine outside of replacing fuses. Took a photo and something here looks melted. It looks like there is a white triangle piece that is missing, as can be seen in the second photo of the working left flipper Can anyone direct me on what I need to purchase to fix this? Thanks!

You need a flipper rebuild kit for a 1986 Williams pinball.

The lane change switches (part with "white triangle" piece)

I recommend you read through Vids guide prior to starting, to get comfortable with the ins and outs of flipper rebuild and repair.

Wow, appreciate the quick response.

When I activate the left flipper, I see a bright spark or flash of light. The right flipper does not do this. Just want to make sure there is nothing else that would need replaced.

Also, I get nervous everytime I lift up the playfield, not wanting to get shocked. If the game is off and unplugged, can anything inside still hold a charge and cause a shock?

Can I use this lane change switch for both?

Yes, but you will have to flip the 3rd solder tab on one switch.

The spark is pretty much normal on high voltage flipper switches, it's nothing to worry about. In later games of this vintage, the coils were changed to parallel wound coils with capacitors on the switches to help reduce arcing (spark). The arcing contributes to pitting on the switch contacts over time, but is otherwise not a concern.
