Last I looked Marco has the stars in stock.
I recommend taking an old one off your playfield and cut the bottom nub off and check for free movement on your new playfield. Chances are you will need to remove some clear. If you goof on your new one with a new star it’s better cut out and replace. If you try to bend the star housing you could break the housing then it’s a mess to replace that if even possible.
So I bought a high speed today. Looking at this thread makes me want to do a swap with my PF too but mine isn’t all that bad so I’m tempted to leave it alone but enjoying your pics regardless.
Black flipper bats were a good call. I think the whites would be a little easier to see but black bats look way cooler.
Quoted from dmacy:I hadn’t and it’s a good question as I didn’t know other than I have heard of them. They brought it over and asked if I could install it. His explanation is best described here:

Board or no board I would beg anyone with 11As and earlier to fuse your bridges. This might be a good solution which I haven't seen before. If one of those bridges goes, a damaged pinball might be the least of your worries (house smelling like a campfire throughout)
Quoted from GRUMPY:Add a red and blue led strip to the back box.
Here is a video.

1) that looks nice
2) that custom message is going to prep me to come by and take care of those high scores haha
So how are you liking those clear pop bumper bodies? I’m thinking I should add those to my game I know that’s an area of the playfield that’s pretty dark so might be beneficial to brighten up a bit.
Quoted from dmacy:I really like them. I’ve yet to use them on my own games yet but have a few other playfield swaps. I picked some clear and translucent orange for my WMS IJ. Not sure which ones yet.
I will say you really need to use a pop bumper type bulb to take advantage. They really do give a lot more light when used with any of the pop bumper LED “board” style lights.
Good to know. Yeah I’ve never worked with the boards for pop bumpers just stuck to 47s or 555 styles.
Someday I want to color match skirt, body and cap on my getaway. But with high speed you gotta keep the classic Williams caps on there like you did.
