Can someone post a picture of the left side flipper button switch wiring. I am fixing a #highspeed game but it had some missing parts. Am concerned I don’t mess up the wiring when I get the new switch in. There are two hanging wires where the switch used to be.

Also have a question on the assorted plastics used on the play field. Noticed how everything is held together with rivets. Is there any guidance out there for replacing. Do I have to bite the bullet and get a rivet press?

Also playfield paint color. Any suggestions on the grayish road color mix?

Thanks to all in advance!

Thank you!!!! Very clear. I know I am a beginner, what is the disk attached to the wires. Assuming a bridge between the two posts.

Thanks everyone! Appreciate all the advice!

Again I ask for help. I would like to see a picture of how the following switch is wired. I am attaching the old switch and the new one. There are three open wires at the spot where this switch was. When I got the machine it was already cut. I am assuming that the switch wasn’t working. But I don’t know that. Thanks again!

Thanks. Why does the new switch have 2 prongs on the left side It seems the old one and your pic only has 1. Are they not both used?

This is very helpful. Thanks again. On closer inspection and with glasses on I do seethe nc and on description on the old and new switches

Take lots of pictures. I too am in the throngs of a high speed project. I may have some extra parts when I am done looking forward to your thoughts

Today I am still working on my play field to get it up to standard

Next I begin replacing targets and rebuilding flippers

Seems Marco industries is my best friend and money sinkhole!

Quoted from Freeplay40:

Rob's stop light is AWESOME!

Where do you get the metal bracket for the stop light

#3592 3 years ago
Quoted from Pin-Pilot:No metal bracket needed for vertical stoplight. It screws right on top of the bumper post.

I have the original black box light with an angle bracket. I don’t want to drill into the ramp like it was originally. I have a new clear ramp from member freeplay40 One suggestion is to attach to the back board. Freeplay40 has a suggested approach in one of his replies. The picture in this discussion seemed to have a flat metal bracket attached to the black box style light. Thus my original question.

Quoted from Pin-Pilot:

Looking nice. Make sure you do the SYS 11 Bullet Proofing. Especially the Lamp and Solenoid Bridge Rectifier fuse install!! This is an absolute first and must do!

Please, can you reference this comment with details. I am unfamiliar with what the issues are as I am new to the pinball maintenance issues. Thanks in advance.

Would someone take a photo of their high speed flipper mechanisms and post. I was doing a flipper maintenance and replacement and as I look at it it seems that the switches aren’t right. I bought the package from Marco pinball but it seems they provided the wrong switch styles -open vs closed. ( I am sure it was my error in purchase) And the new mechanisms don’t reach the switch!!

So I want to see what others have.

Thank you

Thank you. Very helpful. My bracket does not have the extra metal to attach the spring to. Which is part of my problem. Also it’s clear to me that I have the wrong switches. (Purchased from Marco pinball)

Thanks all
Can you send a pic for me to see how the rebuilt 1986 flippers look?

Quoted from KnockerPTSD:

Those are the standard 1986 Williams assemblies. I just rebuilt mine. Pinpilot looks to have modefied his to the newer (post 1987?) style
