Quoted from DanMarino:I’m in! What a fun game. Unsolicited, my wife said she really likes the theme.
Got a couple of problems to tinker on.
1. Player 2 alphanumeric display is missing the same segment on each numeral.
2. When turning on, the machine knocks and says to adjust the right flipper end of stroke switch. I’m not quite sure if it is a problem when it is closed or open?
3. Could use a new ramp traffic light, mine has electrical tape holding it together.
4. May get some LEDs. Is the consensus cool white?
5. Those red ramps you guys have look great!
6. Gotta eventually get those sweet pop bumper ring lights![quoted image]
Same, my wife likes it over most modern tables.
1) I have the exact same issue. I tried to troubleshoot swapping cables with not change. Mine does it intermittently and comes and goes. I assume there’s a pin not getting a good connection on that display board/screen.
2) I’m assuming your right flipper lead switch is making contact, needs slight adjustment.
3)I 3D printed one that matches the playfield theme. I can send the 3D file (which previous pinsiders emailed me) or you can buy an original replacement off Marco for just a few bucks.
4) I put LEDs only in the under the playfield lights. All above tables are original. Really helps the jewel lights pop but still has the warm feel of the original table.
5) those ramps are nice. Run about $120 but note if you send it in to have the switches swapped you will be without a ramp for a couple weeks.
Side note, I made a template and posted it a few pages back if you want to make your own local Freeway Stickers for your spinners. Kinda fun to make it your own.
Enjoy it.
