Quoted from BenB:I picked up a project high speed last weekend. I got it running but the credit match display is dead. Anybody change to Leds and have a used working C-8365 ?
[quoted image]
I just swapped my displays for the xpin set. I have the credit display and 2 of the 4 players that work. Pm me
Quoted from pinballboy:Congrats on the machine! If you need there is a hardtop playfield for somewhere around 350$ And those are very nice and easier than a full playfield swap.
I am currently in the middle of a hardtop. Look at the hardtop thread.

Quoted from motorbreth77:Joined the Club, Currently working out some issues before a full clean, wax, polish job.
What a game, for '86 Ritchie knocked it out of the park.
Shot in the dark here, but does anybody have any used plastics lying around?
I am in need of the left side triple bank stoplight plastic. The one with the yellow sign that says "Drive 55, stay alive" or something like that.
I don't care if its beat up or warped, just need the holes to be intact, the one I have is pretty broken.
I have an entire plastics set in decent shape. I am doing a restore and I bought new ones from CPR. Pm me.
Quoted from Lovef2k:Oh and the cutting of the star roll over inserts was painstaking. It was suggested to me that using a dremel drum sanding bit is the best tool for this. Go very slow until you reach the edges of the insert opening. Go a hair wider than the insert opening to prevent the ht from popping up around the insert.
I removed mine by using a socket on the underside. A few taps with a hammer and they popped right out.
Got my High Speed restoration done. Hard top and all new parts. Only flasher covers left to put on. If anyone needs plastics or beacon hardware just let me know. I’ll be posting them for sale shortly.

Any difficulty taking out the rollovers for the hardtop? Just use a heat gun and socket to pop it out? I was waiting for a new playfield on my restoration because the playfield is an absolute wreck, however since it will not be available until around December now from CPR, I bought a hardtop instead. Last hardtop I did was for a Space Shuttle and that when smoothly since it was just sand, polish, and stick.
They just popped out using a socket. Quite easy.
Quoted from ScottThePhotog:That looks fantastic! Congratulations on finishing it.
I'm in need of the plastic by the left traffic light target bank (55 speed limit one) and the slingshot plastics.
Also, depending on how much you are asking for it, I'm interesting in the beacon parts.
Thanks!

Sorry that stock set was gone quick.
Quoted from Montecarlo73:Hello,
Does anyone have bell post they can spare for my lane guide? I have one that is rusted out but rest of the part is good.
Thanks,
John[quoted image]
I’ve got one I can send. Pm me.
