I've finally got my HS back together after a lengthy refresh. I was doing some test plays and noticed the flipper strength decreasing as the games progressed until finally F2 on the flipper power supply board blew and I lost power to all special solenoids. I couldn't see smoke but there was a distinct smell that something was not happy. I could not pinpoint the source of the smell. I replaced F2, started another test game and this time it blew after only a few flips.

I'm going to start looking for shorts in the flippers, but why do I lose power to all the special solenoids when its the flipper PS fuse that's blowing?
