Is there any way to reset the high score on a bally SS night rider machine? I tried disabling the feature with the #15 switch but once enabled the high score returns.

Its rather convoluted, but page 14 describes setting the high score to date feature. You don't so much "reset" it as just adjust the hi score to date score back down.
