My apologizes if this has been asked and answered elsewhere. I search but could not find.

I picked up a HRC the other day in great condition. I am shopping it out now but when I am currently playing it the ball will get stuck after the slot machine ramp comes down. The ball is unable to get over the edge of the backside of the ramp after it goes down. A hearty shake will not get it over the edge. I have to either take the glass off or lift up the front enough to give it some inertia. Is this a common issue and is there an easy fix? Can the ramp be adjusted? Thanks!

Quoted from scootss:

Can you post a pic of the ramp in the up and down position?
I'm not in front of the game, but page 86 in the manual may help.

I would start by looking at the microswitch (2). An adjustment there may stop the movement of the motor later so the ramp goes down more.

I stripped the playfield down, cleaned and waxed, adjusted level and the ball has not gotten stuck once.

I do have a few more questions. Anyone having issues with balls magnetizing? I was reading that high carbon steel balls are the way to go with this type of game. Sometimes the balls will stick together in the trough and the lock ramp. Also has anyone else noticed that with the roulette wheel it does not always register the proper color you land on? For example quite often it will land on Red but actually register Black or green. I would say its about 50/50, sometimes it works fine other times it registers the wrong color. In regards to the standup targets I have noticed the harder you hit them the less likely they register or go down. For example the Craps target, if I nail it hard it most likely will not register. I took the switch off and it seems to be just fine and if you lightly push it in it works fine... weird. Same thing with the Black Jack "Hit" standups.

Oh It is on Version 2.03. What EPROM number does it take for all its different EPROMS. I dont want to rewrite what I currently have but want to make new ones.

Thanks!

Just wait until you hit the Super Duper Mega Extreme jackpot! That call out is epic. It is also very difficult to achieve.

Lol I have gotten it a few times and I laugh my butt off everytime.

That color DMD looks nice. May have to upgrade mine someday.
