I was wrong. I'll own it, learn from it, and move on.

    Quoted from RWH:

Nothing about that statement has a ring of truth to it. I can not imagine HEP responding in that manner. I could see them telling you they do not ship pins overseas etc., but not with the added prejudiced comment (only sell American pinball to American customers).

Agree. Doesn’t sound like Chris at all. I’m over $17k in my HEP White Water as I know many of you can relate too when you have Chris really trick them out. Was worth every penny to me. It’s a full “experience” (from start to finish) when you decide to have Chris do a game for you. While you are left with the best result money can buy, the process is about more than that.

I think you did a little research you wouldn’t have yapped your trap about something you know nothing about. A “pinball collector” but unfamiliar with HEP? Sheesh

It isn’t unusual for newer people not to know anything about HEP or many other things we are well versed in over time.
I think my first post on RGP almost 20 years ago was bitching about Marcos flat rate shipping charges after just ordering $6 worth of parts.
They ate me alive that day

    We all gotta start somewhere.

Good thing you didn't call Steve young without part numbers back then.

I learned about Steve Young in 2005 when I was newb; just before getting seriously into pinball. I was in Poughkeepsie and decided to walk to PBR. I really just wanted to look around and ‘kick a few tires’. Not a computer in sight, just racks and bins of parts. Steve was busy on the phone and filling orders. He wasn’t used to walk-in customers. He took a few minutes and talked the newb! I gained a real appreciation for pinball from a master!

Actually his credentials were better than those of just a regular pinball collector.

    He was a "serious collector."

That's like having an amp that goes to 11. It's one more now, isn't it?

I wish there was a better way to portray sarcasm in type. Less fights, more laughs.
