Welcome to the asylum, PinFatale! It is a very friendly little nut house we have here. There are a few trolls living in the basement, but they are easy to spot. Pinball is all about fun and there is plenty to be had here.

How about people with multiple accounts?

    #8 9 years ago

Ok, thread re-opened. With all the spam and troll accounts lately, we are being pretty strict on duplicate accounts. However, I met Ms PinFatale in person at Free Play Florida and can vouch that she is real, the girlfriend of a Pinsider (which is why the accounts match exactly and looked initially suspicious,) and very nice. I personally asked her to join here since we have very fee pinball-loving girls around, so you guys be nice to her.

    Lmao. So true.

We just had our first female technician start in the shop a few weeks ago. She's cool with us. Which makes everything work. If she played the victim card in a garage full of male techs and a sexist line foreman (you're welcome ladies!) , then everything would be much more tense.

    So far so cool.

I think Don & Jeff (the Pinball Podcast) made the same statement as well. Guys, change the wardrobe up every once in awhile! At the last Pinball Showdown my 15 year old made the same comment - plus the need for some personnel hygiene!

You think sexual harrasment is a good thing and really funny? Is it ok for guys to harrass your Mom, sister, wife or daughter then?
Once you have a daughter views change. My daughter likes pinball actually a lot more than my son. Wife likes pinball also.

Lighten up France's. People are allowed to have chovenistic or masagonistic views just as much as people are allowed to be bigots. We don't have to like it, but try not to get wound to tight about it.

I didn't run into any really smelly people at SFGE. I'll admit, being a fat guy, I was probably over-conscious about smelling good. There were a couple people who crop dusted, but I always let that slide.
