This thread scared me enough to go downstairs with a flashlight and stare at my Cirqus Voltaire, it only has a handful of barely ghosted inserts and those look a lot better than the new Sterns on display here. And it was routed.

Just a tiny bit of ghosting on the affected ones around the edges and I never would have noticed them at all had I not been following this thread.

Guess I got lucky.

Hmm, explains why the clear is peeling off all over my truck even though it's been stored indoors every winter, washed and waxed religiously. Meanwhile the Earl Scheib paint job on my old Tbird isn't peeling. Give me older tech any day, newer does not mean better.

Back to the ghosting, this is terrible and I would cancel if it were me. Wife wanted a Kiss or Met, no Sterns for us. I'm trying not to be a B/W fanboy, but the new Sterns just feel cheap to me, and these prices are beyond insane. After seeing things like pegs instead of rails, etc. I guess peeling clear was inevitable.
