Currency exchange does change that fast. It changed 30% over the past year alone. Hardly Stern's fault.
You have to stick with US pricing if you want to complain about Stern's price increases, to keep it apples to apples.

Replace "Ghostbusters" in your post with "Most Recent Stern release" and you can find posts exactly like it for every title. This is normal.

signatures are usually written on layer 1 of clear coat, and then covered again with a second coat of clear, so the process of building this playfield could have started a while back, and only finished recently. "waiting to be done" doesn't necessarily mean built from scratch yesterday, could be a months long process.
