LE's are not meant as collectible? I think LE's are meant just for that: collectibles.

I think people also take in account that you only have the game for max 3 months and already want to sell it.............creates suspicion with buyers in combination with all the fuzz about ghosting inserts. That doesn't help. But anyway GLWS. It's a nice game.

In Europe it is different. The distributor is responsible for the warrenty. European consumer law applies when they are selling to home-users (B2C) aka consumers. European consumer law protects (for 2 years) the buyer much more than the Stern factory warrenty. If the distributor sells to a busunies (B2B) then the Stern factory warrenty apply.

Price in Europe is USA$ list price + 21%VAT (import from US to EU) and the exchange rate on top of that.
So LE 8795 + VAT = $10641 this converts to €9600 at the current exchange rate.
(VAT may be different for each country.)
Cancelled my GB LE #340, would have been delivered today. Distributor does not acknowledge European and Ducth consumer rights apply on this purchase and warranty. And the Stern factory warranty with the current issues are not worth the risk to me for a purchase of 9700 euros. (10640 dollars due to import and VAT). Pinball is much fun but not that much
I'm just glad I cancelled the GB LE last week, one day before delivery. Got my down payment back and all from the distributor. 
Good service and nice gesture of this distributor.

Me too, never ever been so happy with cancelling a buy of any sorts.

Distributor told me the problems were solved.
I cancelled my order on the GB LE because of the Ghosting about a year ago.. Did not want to risk it.
