I just put my GB Pro order on HOLD with my distributor.
I didn't want to cancel it completely, as I love the game and hope Stern works things out in the coming months. I would rather wait it out than roll the dice.
I thought the cases were isolated until reading this thread.

There is a GB on location near my work and I noticed a sliver sized ghosted area on 2 inserts when I first saw it. I figured the playfield would fall apart within a few months, but surprisingly after 7 months it hasn't gotten any worse, and it gets a lot of plays. So you might be OK.
My GB is also a July/August build... No ghosting yet after 200+ plays. Won't be surprised if it happens though.

Yes, please let us know how it goes. Is Playdium helping you with the process, or are you dealing directly with Stern? Interested to see what condition your original Playfield was in to warrant an exchange.
I have GB Pro purchased through Playdium. One insert has minor ghosting... so interested to hear how your exchange goes in case I end up trying to do the same (if condition of PF worsens).

Played SW on location today. Minor ghosting on a few inserts. Machine is a lot of fun though.
