Quoted from gweempose:

So here's the thing I don't understand. If you can select numbers that are outside the LE range, what is the point of the number? I realize that some people like having a specific number, but if that number isn't tied to the production run, it's basically meaningless. You might as well offer people the opportunity to pick their number on non-limited games as well. It just seems utterly ridiculous to have game number 1939 out of a 1500 game run.

Totally agree...I guess JPP tracks this stuff internally (or apparently not).....personally I could give two shits about a serial number. My guess is he's contacted JJP and they haven't responded yet.....

Quoted from stpcore:

My name is Ken Cromwell and I'm the Communication Specialist for Jersey Jack Pinball. This situation was recently brought to my attention and I wanted to address it in an effort to clear up any confusion. I do apologize for any confusion as there was absolutely an error with two 1939 decals being generated for two different machines.
Wizard of Oz Ruby Red edition is limited to 1500 games. After doing some research it turns out that the OP had requested 1939 and that number was given assigned to his machine. That should have prevented an additional 1939 number request from being accepted. The seller of the WOZRR that is currently listed did NOT request a number for his machine but a 1939 decal was generated and shipped by mistake. I've contacted the seller of this machine to update him with the correct number of his machine that we have on file (it is not 1939). This was an error on our end as we would not have ever duplicated a number intentionally.
Again, our apologies for the error and for any confusion this may have caused. I would encourage everyone to reach out to us directly (with any problems, concerns, or feedback) as we have a very open line of communication. It would allow us the opportunity to serve you to the best of our ability.

Thanks for the explanation....be interesting to see if the guy selling his WOZ makes the correction
