hmmm....

Muensters for 5300, MBr for 7300, seriously almost any good pro with finished code for sub 5k, countless amazing classic titles for 2500-5000...
or a reskinned turd of a game for 8300+

It seems to me that Stern is specifically working towards and investor sell off and is trying to increase the $ per game stat.

Sad to me that this is the first music themed game, I would like based on theme and now it is just another WNBJM.

Quoted from Hammer1021:

Let's pretend it wasn't limited to a 100, at what price would you consider buying it.

Since I could go get the same game in two other versions for much cheaper... i would pay a small mark up for the art and band.

PRo price? Even then I hate the layout and game play of wnbjm.

Quoted from jgentry:

You mean like all of those discounted sterns that distributors are fire selling?

funny part is that he is right on Beatles. Price has already gone down in the past week.

Lots of leeway coming on that one and seems quite a few bought the 10 pack but are sitting on a pile of Golds not budging.
With Muensters leak it appears a few are ready to talk. I expect more opportunity if you are patient.

Quoted from jgentry:

I've seen prices from $7600 to $8000 since the announcement. Nothing has really changed and distributors are not going to panic after 2 weeks.

2 weeks ago it was "8000 firm as these are selling themselves"
now it is "7600 and please let me know if you are interested"

That is a change...

Quoted from jgentry:

You sure are interested in the price of a game you dont like and dont want to route
Why are you calling all over the place for prices if you dont want one?

I have said I like it and would like to route it... I DONT like the price and wont be buying one at current prices.
For clarity, I have meade 2 calls and have been contacted directly by 2 others (one of them 2x now).

You sure are defensive of a game you dont own nor plan to own. Why are you still so supportive of this money grab price and pricing model?

Quoted from Psw757:

That’s not a price drop. I ordered day 1 and $7600 is what I was quoted. Some dealers are honest and some try to cash grab, you know this.
My two local guys and large regional guy 2 hours away all were 8k or higher for a gold. Hard to support the local guys when they pull shit like that, just saying. I’d really like to.

when the same guy is 8k on day 1 and now 2 weeks later is calling with 7600, that is a price drop.

I know everyone keeps saying that this game was "not for pinheads" but simply put they are not selling well to non-pinheads either due to the price.
Supply and demand is what rules it all. We all know that Pro/Gold was sold to distributors with them aiming for a huge mark up and calculated risk of buying the 10 pack to really cash in on the Prem and LE models.

Supply on Pros is very high. Prices are reflecting that already in 2 weeks.

Not intended for pinheads but here are 9 different sellers with multiples if you are looking. https://pinside.com/pinball/machine/stern-the-beatles/market

so where did we land on duplicate accounts?

Apparently allowed if you are an employee of Stern?

Quoted from turbo2nr:

If you consider $8 for a part and three minutes of labor a big deal then i guess, sure man. Call it a BIG deal if you want? I wouldnt myself.

I think it is a pretty big deal since these were marketed primarily to a non-pinhead crowd. That and combined with it being the single most important physical mech in the game.
